Daimler Mobility announced on Tuesday it has set up Mercedes-Benz Mobility Korea (MBMK) as a separate business entity to launch a range of new products and services with initial dedication to premium long-term car rental business.
The new organization will be headed by Guillaume Fritz who had held various marketing and sales roles in Daimler Group in Germany.
Customers can write car rental contracts at Mercedes-Benz showrooms and an online channel will also be provided.
Korea is a good market to try innovative mobility platforms, said Fritz, adding that the brand will be committed to providing premium mobility services in Korea.
