Driving in US Costs More than in Parts of Europe

Driving freedom comes at a cost in many countries, including in the U.S.

It's more expensive to drive a car in the United States than in some countries across the pond.

A recent study by INRIX, a leader in transportation analytics and connected car services, found that Americans face a higher total cost of driving a vehicle than their counterparts in Germany or the United Kingdom. The study, which assessed vehicle ownership costs in 30 major cities across the three nations, considered direct and indirect costs of driving to calculate overall costs.
